DayZ is a hardcore, survival-focused multiplayer sandbox. Thrown into a post-apocalyptic wasteland, you have a singular goal: survive. There are no missions or quests. Your story is written by the environment, the infected, and every other survivor you meet — some of whom will help you, most of whom won't.
No map markers. No mini-map. No waypoints. You navigate by landmarks, diagnose your own illnesses, and search every building by hand for the next ration, bandage, or magazine. Death is permanent.

Livonia — 168 km² of dense forest hiding a darker secret
Sakhal — an 83 km² volcanic archipelago where the cold will kill you before anything else does
