Tarot Tokens is a strategic tile game inspired by the Fools journey through the major arcana of the tarot. Placing Tarot Tokens crafts your journey from four key aspects of the major arcana of the tarot: family, morals, conflict, hope.

Win With Virtues
The aim of Tarot Tokens is to build your three virtues up and keep them nicely balanced by making wise, or seemingly foolish choices, along the way. Run out of any virtue and the journey ends. Reach the end by taking all the steps and reflect on your journey - learn to see pass the numbers and embrace your whole journey.

The Fool
Every game starts with The Fool already placed. Your choices between the Tarot Tokens steers your journey, with the help of the Fools Abilities every few turns. Your journey through the life challenges of placing tokens shape the Fools path that is always different, always yours.

Silence Is Golden
Tarot Tokens has no sound of any kind, no music, no effects, nothing. Enjoy the silence or bring your own noise, much like when using real tarot cards for a reading. Feedback is visual only and there are options to tone it down if you find it a bit much.

Not A Deck Builder
You play with all 22 tokens of the major arcana, every game. A randomly selected number of tokens are offered to you each turn, except The Fool who is used only once at the start of every game. All tokens interact with some other tokens on the board. Each token has its own unique effect with most generating virtues in addition to other token interactions.

Follow Your Path
Play your favourite token as often as you want, if it is available that turn. Or play highly tactically to gain maximum virtue and be really efficient, although you might just be missing out. Every token is always unlocked and randomly chosen every turn - no token fixing or token reading goes on (even though it might feel that way if your journey feels off).

A Hex On You!
Tarot Tokens uses a hex grid in shameless violation of the four sided card format of the tarot. The essence of the tarot is faithfully preserved in a hex shape with on-demand help explaining virtues, adjacency information, and a brief description of the significance of that tarot token in the context of the Fools journey. Hex grids are still over rated though!
