Heroes of Magic & Cards is an inventive deckbuilding poker roguelike that rewards both careful buildcrafting and poker skills. Choose your class and chart your path across the world, from encounter to encounter, upgrading your deck, collecting relics, and refining your tactics to take down powerful bosses, earning powerful rewards!

YOUR DECK IS YOUR SWORD AND SHIELD

Cards are everything in Heroes of Magic & Cards! Your hand determines how much damage you can do and what abilities you can activate, such as building Rage or striking the enemy with Lightning!

By collecting enchantments for your cards, you can improve their number value (change a “5” into a “6”), switch their suit (change a “diamond” into a “spade”), or apply special effects, including card-cloning and poison. By changing your cards’ suits or values you can continually improve your chances of drawing powerful poker-hands, which trigger devastating combo-effects.

POKER MEETS ROGUELIKE!

As you traverse the worldmap, discover relics, enchantments, consumable items, and expansions for your character’s natural class-abilities. Different discoveries and strategies will yield explosive synergies. At the same time, your inner poker-shark will feast!

• Choose from three heroes with access to over 90 abilities, changing the flow of the game in both subtle and spectacular ways. Cast Chain Lightning or Hellfire for massive damage! Use Sacrifice to trade health-points for more cards!
• Collect more than 40 different enchantments as you journey across the world, upgrading your cards and finding explosive synergies.
• Discover hundreds of powerful hidden relics that completely change the game, cutting your max-HP in exchange for vampiric healing, or doubling the power of odd-numbered cards in exchange for weakening the evens!
• Poker-hands such as straights, pairs, etc activate devastating combo-effects that leave opponents in ruin! Carefully manage your cards to pull off dazzling finishers!
• Play relaxing mini-games like fishing and gambling for extra rewards.
